Who we are
About Me
My name is George F. I’m 58 years old and live in South Abington Township, Pennsylvania with my wife, our two boys, and our loyal dog, Baxter. Family is my foundation, and they’ve been a source of strength throughout my life.
For over 40 years, I battled addiction. Today, I’m grateful to say that I am in recovery — healing one day at a time. That journey has shaped who I am and inspired me to create something that gives back: Art Creations for Recovery.
Why I Create
This project is more than art — it’s a reflection of resilience, hope, and transformation. My inspiration comes from the recovery journey itself: the shadows we walk through, the lessons we learn, and the light we discover on the other side.
Symbols like the Phoenix Rising, the Tree of Life, and the reminder that “Behind Every Shadow There Is Light” are not just artistic choices — they’re reflections of my own story and the stories of countless others on the path of healing.
Our Mission
Through Art Creations for Recovery, I create meaningful artwork with a purpose. 10% of every sale is donated to support recovery programs, because I believe in giving back to the very communities that make second chances possible.
My hope is that each piece carries not only beauty but also encouragement — a reminder that no matter how difficult the journey, there is always hope ahead.
Why It Matters
Recovery is not easy, but it is possible. My art is my way of sharing that message. If even one piece of my work inspires someone to take the next step forward, then this mission has done what it was meant to do.
